Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

Grace just wanted to touch base with you in regards to the COVID-19 epidemic.  Leadership decided last night that all church activities will be canceled until further notified.  A website has been created for having online church.  Another way to access the online church is to go to the church’s website which is and click on digital worship.  This will allow you to still worship at home.  However, the finished product on the web page will not be completed until 10:15 am on Sunday.

Secondly, please feel free to mail in your tithes to the church at 510 Portland Street.

Finally, the church office assistant will be working remotely from home these next several weeks.  If you need something please contact Mindy on her cell phone or at home phone number which you can find in the directory or email the church at  As always feel free to contact a leadership member with any needs.

Continue to pray for God’s blessings during this current epidemic.  Thanks.

Operation Christmas Child
The Great Lakes Mission for the OCC bus trip to Charlotte, NC is now taking reservations.  The dates for this year’s trip are Nov. 30-Dec. 5.  It is a ministry opportunity for you to help in the next step of getting the shoe box gifts prepared for the boys and girls.  Experience missions in a warehouse!  Children must be 13 to participate and accompanied by a chaperone.  Contact Doris Heindel 419-733-7222 or Larry Eversman 419-979-9212 for information and forms about this mission trip!
The “Mask Warriors “ of Grace Missionary Church have been at there sewing machines preparing for the return of church services on May 24th.  There will be masks available at the door for children over two as well as adults.  However, MASKS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO ATTEND SERVICES.  You may take these home or deposit them in the provided container after the service.  Feel free to take extras for those in need (within reason).  There will no longer be a container of masks stationed outside.

Option to be United in Prayer

The Missionary Church has selected the First Friday of every month to agree in Prayer and Fasting.  Imagine all the Missionary Churches across our nation joined in prayer and fasting together!

There are a variety of ways to fast.  You can select a type of food or two to abstain from.  You can select a meal time to refrain or a certain time period of the day.  If you choose to refrain from all food, let me encourage you to be sure to still drink enough fluids and if you have health concerns, you may want to consult your doctor first.  Some choose to refrain or abstain from things other than food.  Some have gone without TV or other types of technology.  Whatever you decide, remember the key is to spend more time in prayer!
Mother’s Day Prayer
Loving God, we ask you to bless all Mothers today.  May they feel the joys of motherhood everyday.  In all their struggle giving us a livelihood, may your love and compassion be with them for good.  May every mother feel today, the pride and beauty of the family they bear.  Through all pain and sorrow Lord deliver them-in your strength and grace may they always stay.  Amen!
Soft Opening of Church Services

10:15 am church service will re-open on May 24 as a “soft opening.”  There will be specific guidelines to follow in regards to what the state of Ohio has recommended.  Online services will still be provided for those who wish to stay home.  By all means if you have any doubts please stay home.  We understand!  No other activities will be open as of now.

Office Closed
The office will remained closed during the soft opening on May 24 until re-evaluation by leadership.  If you need anything please e-mail the church at or call Mindy at 765-509-0278.
