When you come and experience Grace Missionary Church you will soon discover that we are not about religion but about relationships — a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and relationships with each other. We take Acts 2:42 to heart: “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

We strive to live out the Mission Jesus has given us in Matthew 28:19-20: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Making disciples requires doing life together. We look forward to meeting you and making you part of our family.

You are always welcome at Grace –  just as you are!

Operation Christmas Child
406 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes were dedicated and sent on their way to boys and girls around the world.  We met our goal of 365 boxes and the shipping money for this project.  Thank you for all the items that you purchased through the year and the shipping money.  Also, a big thank you to the Heritage Girls for their work in helping us get the packing party organized.  This was only possible by your prayers and dedication to this project.

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing
Please pray for the team that will go to Charlotte, NC to process the shoebox gifts Nov. 27-Dec. 2.  Thanks.

Hanging of the Greens

Thanks for the many helping hands in making the church look extra special last Sunday for the holiday season!

Office Closed

The office will be closed on November 23rd and 24th.  It will resume regular hours November 28th.  Thanks and sorry for any inconveniences.

Angel Tree Tags

It’s that time of year again when Grace is able to bless the families in Mercer County by participating in the Angel Tree Program. Visit the Angel Tree in the foyer and take as many tags off it as you would like and bring the item listed on the tag to the church on or before Sunday, December 3rd.

Brew Nation

December 2nd at 11:00 am the Women’s Ministry invites the ladies of Grace to join us for coffee at Brew Nation in Celina.  The gathering is open to ladies of all ages.  There is no agenda and no ending time, so let’s gather together and fellowship.  Please contact Nicky Miller with questions.

Thanksgiving Pies

Every year Grace provides pies for the Community Thanksgiving Dinner held at Celina High School. This year there is a need for at least 20 pies from Grace. They can be dropped off at the High School on either Wed., Nov. 22nd, from 3 pm to 6 pm or Thursday, Nov. 23rd, from 7 am to Noon. If you are able to make a pie or two please write your name on the sign up sheet at the Welcome Center so we can keep track of how many pies are being made!

Revive Ohio Outreach Day
Will be Saturday, Dec. 16th, at Grand Lake UMC.  “By grace you have been saved through faith and this is not of your own doing; it is the gift of God.”  Ephesians 2:8  Come out and disicple with the community as Jesus is the reason for this season!

Puerto Rico Relief

Thanks to all who contributed as Grace raised $1,255!  What a blessing this will be to this island!

Christmas Cards

To save a stamp, use the mailbox in the foyer and distribute your Christmas greetings to your church family these next few weeks!

Thanksgiving Offering

Thanksgiving is a time for us to reflect on the many blessings that God has bestowed upon us and also a time for us to show our thankfulness.  Thanksgiving offering envelopes have been stuffed in the bulletin to help open new ministries, discipleship training, and develop new churches in Mauritius Islands, Sri Lanka, Tibet, Afghanistan, Guam and Minnesota.  Partner with the Missionary Church in helping make the harvest plentiful!

Roof Project
Buildings & Grounds recommended & the Leadership Team approved a Roof Project to add trusses and improve the roof over our entry foyer to resolve an ongoing problem with ice buildup and water leakage.  This project is being scheduled for next spring.  The Leadership Team also “approved this project for Designated Giving”.  Please mark your giving envelope or check with “Roof Project” if you wish to designate giving for this use.

Call Em’ All Messaging Service
As winter is coming upon us, we need an updated listing of your telephone number and name if you wish to be called for Wednesday and Sunday cancellations due to inclement weather.  Please update your information on the sheet at the Welcome Center or if correct please mark it correct.

Directory Update
Please go to the Welcome Center and check your name, address, e-mail, phone number, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. so GMC can prepare a 2018 directory for everyone shortly after the new year.  Even if you think it is correct, please still mark it correct on the sheet.

Prayer Chain Update

If you are currently on the prayer chain e-mail, would like to be on the prayer chain e-mail, or removed from the prayer chain e-mail, there is a list at the Welcome Center to mark correct, remove, or be added.  If you do not have e-mail, Beverly Duff will call you when a prayer need is requested.  Please add your name to the list with a phone number for the prayer phone call chain.  Thanks.
